Hi, I’m Emily, founder of Private Portugal Tours. Originally from North Carolina, I moved to the Iberian Peninsula at the age of 13, and it didn’t take long before I fell in love with its culture, landscapes, and way of life.
After building my career in the travel industry and qualifying as a licensed tour guide, I founded my own bespoke travel company with a focus on creating seamless, highly personalised journeys. What began as a small operation has grown into a trusted team of specialists designing exceptional private tours across Portugal and Iberia.
Today, I work closely with our team and partners on the ground to craft immersive, tailor-made experiences that go far beyond the typical itinerary. From cultural highlights to hidden gems, every journey is thoughtfully designed to reflect each traveller’s interests.
